JENNIFER FERRANDI -Principle Designer and Founder
Jennifer is the creative side of the business. She has over 25 years of experience in residential and commercial interior design. She has been published in Luxe, Phoenix Home and Garden, Southwest Style and several design books, along with recently having her own home used as a set for a variety of print ads and commercials. She has worked on numerous local residences within the Arcadia, Estancia, Silverleaf, Scottsdale and Paradise Valley area. In addition, she has designed projects in multiple cities outside of Arizona, such as Pebble Beach, Palm Springs, Santa Fe, and Manhattan.
JUANITA GAGNARD - Director of Operations and Founder
Juanita is the analytical side of the business. She spent 20 years in the Financial Services industry, 15 of those years working for Charles Schwab. When her son started school, she decided to make a career change so she could be home more. She then began working part time in the interior design field helping with the accounting side of the business. She enjoyed learning a new industry and took a love to her new profession which lead her and Jen to starting NoMad Design.
JOHN SCHMELZEL - Senior designer
John holds a BA in Communication with minors in Business and Political Science from The University of Arizona. He also earned his Associates Degree in Interior Design from Scottsdale Community College, while interning at one of Arizona’s high-end trade showrooms. Here, he became well versed in the processes and histories of some of the world’s most exclusive manufacturers of furniture and textiles. John has gained invaluable experience working on residential projects throughout the state of Arizona, as well as residences in Hawaii and Texas.
jamie salazar - design assistant
Jamie has passion for creating beautiful aesthetics. She attended and got her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona. After college, Jamie pursued a career in Wedding Planning, but soon realized her true passion lies in Interior Design. With her creativity and eye for detail, Jamie produces stunning designs that bring her clients’ vision to life. She is dedicated to creating timeless, unique designs that are sure to impress.
KATIE WOODFILL - DESIGNer
Katie has a BA in Interior Design from Northern Arizona University. Since graduating, she has worked in both commercial and residential design working on hotels around the country, and homes within the greater Phoenix area as well as Lake Tahoe. She is passionate about helping client’s dreams come to life.
tracee kacer - design assistant
Tracee has her Associates Degree in Interior Design from Scottsdale Community College. She has over 10 years experience working on commercial and residential projects in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and California. After taking a break to work in Public Service, Tracee is excited to be back in the Interior Design Industry helping create beautiful, functional spaces for clients.
AMANDA LITTLE - design assistant
Amanda is a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a BA in Music and BS in Interior Design. With nearly 10 years of design experience, she specializes in colorization, materials selection, design layouts and the utilization of multiple design software programs with an acute attention to detail. She has worked on residential and commercial projects throughout the Phoenix Metropolitan Area, as well as residences throughout the Southwest and Hawaii.
