Jennifer Ferrandi and Juanita Gagnard may seem like opposites—one thrives on creativity while the other excels in analysis—but together they form the perfect partnership. Their friendship spans more than 35 years, during which they have supported and admired each other’s busy, very different careers. Neither imagined that those worlds would one day converge into a shared company.

Jennifer brings more than 25 years of experience in residential and commercial interior design. She has worked at top firms, with her projects featured in Luxe, Phoenix Home & Garden, Modern Luxury, and several design books. Her own home has also been featured as a backdrop in print advertisements and commercials. She represents the creative heart of the partnership.

Juanita, meanwhile, provides the firm’s analytical foundation. She spent two decades in a leadership role at a major financial firm before stepping away to spend more time with her young family. At Jennifer’s suggestion, she began working part-time in the design industry, managing books, billing, and purchasing for the firm where Jennifer was employed. What began as a practical shift quickly grew into a passion, ultimately leading the two friends to launch their own design firm together.

Nomad Design has since grown from a two-woman partnership into a highly regarded Scottsdale-based firm with an exceptional team and a national portfolio. Known for its thoughtful, detail-driven approach, Nomad specializes in high-end residential and commercial design, collaborating closely with clients, architects, and builders from a project’s earliest stages through final completion.

With projects spanning Scottsdale, Cape Cod, Santa Fe, New York City, Austin, and Manhattan Beach, Nomad is recognized not only for its sophisticated, timeless aesthetic but also for its ability to truly listen—helping clients create homes that reflect their dreams and individuality.
